Consultations

When you book a consultation with our cardiology team, our priority is to ensure a smooth and reassuring experience from the start. After scheduling your appointment, either online or by phone, you’ll receive a confirmation with all the necessary details, including what to bring and how to prepare. Our friendly administrative staff will be available to answer any questions you may have about your visit. During your consultation, one of our experienced cardiologists will take the time to understand your health concerns, review your medical history, and perform an examination. You may be recommended additional tests such as an ECG, echocardiograph, or stress testing, depending on your symptoms and medical background. We focus on clear communication and compassionate care, so you’ll leave with a personalised plan and a thorough understanding of your heart health.

ECG &Cardiac Imaging

As part of your consultation, we offer on-site ECG and cardiac ultrasound to help provide a comprehensive assessment of your heart health. Depending on your needs, this may include an electrocardiogram (ECG), echocardiograph (ultrasound of the heart), advanced stress testing with echo (stress echocardiography), or Holter monitoring. These non-invasive tests allow us to evaluate heart rhythm, function, and structure in real time—often during the same visit. By having immediate access to diagnostic imaging, our cardiologists can make informed decisions quickly and begin developing a tailored treatment plan without delay.

Exercise Stress Echocardiography

An exercise stress test is a valuable tool we use to assess how your heart responds to physical activity. During the test, you’ll walk/run on a treadmill while we closely monitor your heart rate, blood pressure, and electrical activity through an electrocardiogram (ECG). The in-house expertise allows for the use of echocardiography for your stress test to enhance the accuracy. The intensity of the exercise increases gradually, helping us evaluate how well your heart functions under stress. This test can help identify issues such as reduced blood flow to the heart muscle, abnormal heart rhythms, or other signs of coronary artery disease.

Exercise stress testing is safe, non-invasive, and performed under careful supervision by our experienced clinical team. It plays a key role in diagnosing symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, or palpitations, and can also be used to guide treatment decisions. After the test, your cardiologist will review the results with you and explain the next steps, whether that’s further testing, lifestyle recommendations, or a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

24 hr Blood pressure monitor, 24 hr Holter monitor & 4 week Event Monitoring

At home heart monitors

To help diagnose and manage heart conditions more accurately, we offer a range of at-home monitoring devices that allow us to track your heart activity over time in your everyday environment. These include a Holter monitor, which continuously records your heart’s electrical activity over 24 to 48 hours, a blood pressure monitor to track your readings throughout the day, and an Event Monitor (the HeartBug), a discreet wearable device that can monitor your heart rhythm for up to several weeks. These tools are especially useful for detecting irregularities that may not appear during a standard in-clinic visit, such as intermittent palpitations, arrhythmias, or blood pressure fluctuations. Once the monitoring period is complete, our cardiologists will analyse the data and discuss the results with you in detail, guiding the next steps in your care.
