Important info for New Patients

What to bring - please bring your referral from your referring doctor (GP, specialist etc) This is necessary for your consultation so that you receive eligible Medicare rebates. Specialist referrals are valid for 3 months and general practitioner referrals are valid for 12 months. Your cardiologist will appreciate any recent pathology results that you have available as well as a list of your medications. If you are undergoing stress testing, bring comfortable clothing and walking shoes.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time- this will give you time to fill out our patient information form.

Where to find us - Bondi Cardiology is situated in the well-known Bondi Junction Westfield Tower business precinct, with easy access to public transportation and parking facilities. We are on Level 17 of Westfield Tower 1 in Bondi Junction. There is an entrance at street level at 520 Oxford street. Alternatively, access the elevator from level 6 inside the shopping centre.

Fees - there will be fees involved with our service. Please call or email our friendly staff for further information.  The fee is payable on the day and we can submit your claim directly to Medicare on your behalf.

Transport - there is on-site parking. If you drive:

1.  you can park on P4 of the Grafton Street entrance and find the Valet parking foyer and there is a lift that goes straight up to Tower 1

2.  or take the Hollywood Ave entrance, take the UP ramp, park on R1 Pink level , find the glass walk bridge, once across and in the shopping centre on your left are 2 vending machines; next to them are 4 lifts to Tower 1.

If you are on foot the entrance to 520 Oxford Street is opposite the Apple Store, next to Hype Shoes.  Approximately a 5 minute walk from Bondi Junction Interchange.

Privacy Policy - In accordance with government regulations, we are obligated to inform you that a confidential file will be kept at Bondi Cardiology containing results of your tests and other relevant information. Routinely, information regarding the outcome of your medical consultation will be forwarded to your referring doctor and may be sent to other health professionals involved in your care. As always all information we have will remain confidential.
